Susan Yankowitz
Susan Yankowitz writes plays, librettos, and fiction. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, she attended Weequahic High School in its glory days, Sarah Lawrence College before boys were admitted, and Yale Drama School during the ferment of Viet Rock and Paradise Now. This trajectory led, happily, to the greatest education of all: writing Terminal with Joe Chaikin and the Open Theatre.
