Laura Secor
Laura Secor has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Foreign Affairs, The New Republic, The Nation, and other publications. She has been a fellow at the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library as well as at the American Academy in Berlin. She has served as a staff editor for the New York Times Op-Ed page, a reporter for the Boston Globe's Ideas section, an editor at The American Prospect and an editor and writer at Lingua Franca magazine. Her book, Children of Paradise: The Struggle for the Soul of Iran, was published by Riverhead in 2016.
