Helen Epstein
Helen Epstein is currently a visiting scholar at the Center for Health and Wellbeing, Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University. She has worked as a consultant on reproductive health and AIDS in Africa for various organizations including Human Rights Watch, the Open Society Institute and the Population Council. She obtained a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Cambridge University, and an MSc in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her articles have appeared in The New York Review of Books, The New York Times Magazine and other publications. She is the author of AIDS in Africa: The Invisible Cure (FSG, 2007).
