Edward Hirsch
Edward Hirsch, a MacArthur Fellow, is a poet and critic, who has published nine books of poems and five books of prose. His most recent prose book is A Poet's Glossary (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2014); his most recent poetry collection is a book-length elegy, Gabriel: A Poem (Knopf, 2014). He is president of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
