Ben Kafka

Ben Kafka is a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in private practice in Greenwich Village. He has been a fellow of the New York Institute for the Humanities since 2007, and a member of its board of directors since 2012. He’s an associate professor of clinical psychoanalysis in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons; he’s also affiliated with the DeWitt Wallace Institute of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine, which is focused on history, policy, and the arts. He’s currently working on a book for Random House about how people drive each other crazy.
