Adrian Nicole LeBlanc
Adrian Nicole LeBlanc is a journalist, MacArthur fellow, and the author of Random Family: Love, Drugs, Trouble, and Coming of Age in the Bronx (Scribner, 2003). The result of twelve years closely following the lives of her subjects, the book chronicled the impact of poverty in one extended family. She has been a fellow at The Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at New York Public Library and the American Academy in Berlin. She is a currently a Visiting Scholar at New York University and is completing a nonfiction book about masculinity and standup comedians for Random House.
