Rowan Ricardo Phillips

Rowan Ricardo Phillips, winner of a Whiting Writers' Award, the PEN/Joyce Osterweil Award, and the GLCA New Writers Award for Poetry, is the author of Heaven (FSG, 2015), The Ground (FSG 2012), and a book of criticism, When Blackness Rhymes With Blackness (Dalkey Archive, 2010). He is also the translator, from the Catalan, of Salvador Espriu's Ariadne in the Grotesque Labyrinth. He lives in New York City and Barcelona.
